1.95m tertiary grads working in low-skilled jobs

Some 1.95 million tertiary-educated workers in Malaysia are employed in low-skilled jobs as of the third quarter (Q3) of 2024, representing a slight increase of about 100,000 workers compared to last quarter.

This group of underemployed workers represent 36.8 percent of all tertiary-educated workers, said the Department of Statistics Malaysia in its latest release.
