RETERNITY’s LePromeneur Sneaker
In its six-year existence, the German brand RETERNITY has garnered quite the reputation as the leading purveyor of luxe streetwear gear. Earlier this year, Tom Schmidt and Lauren Riedel, the co-founders and CEOs of the brand, expanded RETERNITY’s offering into the world of footwear, debuting its first pair, back in March.
Now, the brand is back at it again, as it debuts its second design, the “LePromeneur”. Derived from the French word that means “walker” in English, the LePromeneur is designed for “the stroller who walks through the streets, fully perceives life, and enjoys it to the fullest,” according to the brand.
These 100% genuine leather trainers are handcrafted in Portugal and have a smooth, cosy finish. The shoe has a textured upper and a furry lace that runs down the middle. On its sides is a cross-stitched canvas with “destroyed application,” giving it a distinct textural look. However, the feature that truly stands out is the thick platform midsole, which grants it and the wearer some heightening flair.
Available in “Black” and “White”, the LePromeneur sneaker will be available to purchase on 11th August via the brand’s webstore.
New Balance 991v2 “City Edition” Pack
From casual runners to hardcore trainers, New Balance has been providing athletes with footwear that look great and function like a boss. One such example that is truly loved all across the world is the New Balance 991v2. Since its debut back in 2001, the design has been part of several collaborations and brand deals.
Now, New Balance is doing something truly unique. Call your friends and get ready to roll out with the New Balance 991v2 “City Edition” Pack. This collection features five distinct colourways, ranging from green, pink, blue, red, and yellow. But what sets this collection apart from the others is that each shoe is only available in a particular area and is sold through the best boutiques in that area.
With help from Social Status, the blue colourway is dropping in the USA; yellow is dropping in the Asia-Pacific region through Casestudy and UP THERE; green is dropping in France through Starcow; pink is dropping in Japan with help from atmos; and last but not least, red is dropping in China through New Balance’s own NB Grey concept store.
With the exception of their vibrant pig suede uppers, all five models have the same basic design, with black and grey accents running throughout the upper and a two-tone black and grey midsole featuring a full-length FuelCell footbed encircled by a sturdy ENCAP rim.
These kicks will drop globally throughout August. Leading the charge will be the green pair on 10th August, followed by the pink pair on14th, the blue pair on 17th August, the red pair on 21st August, and the yellow pair on 28th August.
