Colour update for the 2025 Honda CBR150R sportsbike in Malaysia, with pricing now RM13,399, up RM100 from the 2023 price of RM13,299.Pricing is recommended retail and does not include road tax, insurance or registration while the new colour options are Silver and the Honda Tricolor of red, white and blue.
With styling following the Honda CBR1000RR-R, CBR650R, and CBR250RR, the CBR150R retains its DOHC, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder mill displacing 150 cc. Power is claimed to be 16.09 hp at 9,000 rpm and 13.7 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, going to the rear wheel via a six-speed, slipper and assist clutch equipped gearbox.
12 litres of fuel is carried in the tank and weight is claimed to be 139 kg, with seat height set at 788 mm. Suspension is done with upside-down telescopic front fork and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the back, and the CBR50R is certified with a 5-star MyMAP safety rating,
Braking uses single hydraulic discs on the 17-inch wheels wearing 100/80 front and 130/70 rear rubber, while two-channel ABS is standard equipment. LED lighting is used throughout and inside the cockpit a monochrome LCD screen displays all the necessary information.
Stocks of the 2025 Honda CBR150R is available immediately in all Honda Impugn X dealer showrooms nationwide. Primary competition for the CBR150R in Malaysia is the Yamaha R15M, priced at FRM14,998, and the Suzuki GSX-R 150 at RM13,888.
