Taiping 太平, is a town located in Larut, Matang and Selama District, Perak, Malaysia. It is located approximately 48 km (30 mi) northwest of Ipoh, the capital of Perak, and 78 km (48 mi) southeast of George Town, Penang. With a population of 238,900 (2017), it is the second largest town in Perak after Ipoh, the state capital.

Glass prawn or fish derived literally out of their appearance, a see through creatures as such, usually referred to fisherman minimum catches. Just enough for self consumption not feasible for trading. Eventually some creativity indulge and persevere attitude turned it to tremendous snack. The secret is in the seasoning coating of the ingredients, which is off course varied. To me I dedicated to MSG beside flour as major coating 😂
To me Taiping captures Malaysian foodie junkies of all races and religion ❤ well I didn't meant here alone, can satisfied everyone taste buds… I literally mean you can explore other famous or viralled foodie joint in other neighbouring states in due time.
