Bamako is the capital and largest city of Mali. The landmarks of the city are The National Library of Mali, Bamako Grand Mosque, The BCEAO Tower, Pyramide du Souvenir, and The National Museum of Mali. Bamako is located on the Niger River, near the rapids that divide the upper and middle Niger valleys in the southwestern part of the country.
