Burger & Taco Review: What To Order At This Tex-Mex-Inspired Restaurant

0

Whether you’re a burger enthusiast or a taco lover, Burger & Taco is a perfect spot for casual dining, catching up with friends, or grabbing a quick but satisfying meal. The Muslim-owned eatery offers a variety of bold, flavourful options including burgers, tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and milkshakes.

In addition to using premium ingredients like 100% AUS/NZ beef, with zero fillers and no preservatives, Burger & Taco also cater to spicy foodies and vegetarians. We recently dropped by their outlet in Pavilion Bukit Jalil (the other store is located in Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya) to try some of their signature dishes.

Australian Beef Taco (RM17)

This beef taco is tender and flavourful. Seasoned with a balanced blend of spices, it pairs beautifully with fresh toppings like crisp lettuce, diced tomatoes, and cheese sauce. The soft tortilla complements the filling without overpowering it. A solid choice for beef lovers who want something light yet satisfying.

Chicken Quesadilla (RM17)

A comforting, cheesy delight! The chicken is juicy and well-seasoned, with a smoky hint that blends beautifully with the melted cheese. A side of salsa or sour cream would elevate it even further. Perfect for those who enjoy a simple yet delicious cheesy snack.

Fish Burrito (RM20)

A fresh and unique take on a burrito. The fish is flaky and moist, with a crispy golden coating that adds texture. Wrapped in a soft tortilla, fried battered fish is paired with tortilla chips, Chido sauce, lettuce, and tomato.

Sweet Emotion Beef Burger (RM21)

This is a burger with personality! The beef patty is thick, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Topped with caramelised onions, creamy cheese, and a rich sauce, it delivers a wonderful balance of sweet and savoury. The bun is soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together. A must-try for those who love a flavour-packed, indulgent burger.

Volcano Chicken Burger (RM21)

True to its name, this burger brings the heat! The spicy chicken is crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and coated in a fiery sauce that builds up nicely. Cooling elements like lettuce and tomato help balance the spice, making it enjoyable rather than overwhelming. If you love a bit of a kick, this burger won’t disappoint.

Beverage

When it comes to drinks, the chocolate, cookies & cream as well as strawberry milkshakes (ranging from RM13-RM16) are crowd favourites, especially among kids. Other options include black coffee, black tea, sweetened tea (peach and raspberry), plus canned drinks.

Final Thoughts

While ala carte options may be a tad pricy, we’d recommend going with the lunch sets or iftar combo promos. If you’re in the mood for something spicy, the Volcano Chicken Burger is a winner. For a lighter option, the Quesadilla and Australian Beef Taco are great picks.
