Celebrate The Talent Of Asian Youths With Monsta Asia!

More than 1,500 incredible young Asian talents have been identified and honoured by MonStar Awards since its founding in 2018. These individuals inspire others and their community via their work, stories, and abilities. Monsta Asia was established in 2016 with the goal of developing and spotting the future generation’s talents in Asia. Today, the organisation is made up of creative, young people from various backgrounds who are working together to inspire growth throughout the region.

Youths from seven different countries came together for the 5th MonStar Awards Grand Finale this year, and it was a night to remember as they shared their motivational tales. The awards night took place at Panggung Bandaraya, a historical theatre hall located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur on the 26th of November.

Numerous well-known Malaysian household names, including Datuk Nicol David, a former World No. 1 squash player who is also a member of the Monsta Asia Board of Directors. Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir, Tan Sri Jemilah Mahmood, Chef Wan, Tan Sri Jemilah, and Natalia Navin on the panel of judges, eminent participants’ guests, and many more attended the event.

The first live theatrical production, named “The _ Life of Jane(s),” was the evening’s high point. In order to turn the concept into a reality, a crew of talented young individuals with a significant amount of passion was assembled. The story focused on Jane, a woman in her twenties who had endured a major setback in her life and was driven to investigate the numerous dimensions of her path to give her life more meaning and purpose.

The Top 10 Young Talents were then revealed, capping up the award ceremony. A panel of judges from various industries, including Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir (a Malaysian socio-political activist and writer), Natalia Navin (Chief Human Resource Officer of Maxis), Tan Sri Jemilah Mahmood (Humanitarian, Sustainability & Planetary Health Advocate), Chef Wan (a Malaysian celebrity chef and entrepreneur), and Hassan Salahuddin, selected the winners from among 900 nominees from 26 communities and campus partners in 7 countries (Head of Creator Partnership of Meta Malaysia & Pakistan).
