DKING, the Founder & Host of the 3rd Malaysia International Durian & Cultural Festival (MIDCF), in collaboration with LKE Malaysia, is set to host the grandest durian buffet fest. This exciting event aims to introduce the Durian, known as the King of Fruits, to both locals and tourists from all corners of the globe. The festival will take place from 8th September to 10th September 2023 at Piazza of Pavilion Bukit Jalil, with the hope of establishing it as a cherished annual tradition, known as DurianFest or Hari Durian, in the future.
The prestigious event was officiated by Dato Dr Ammar abd Ghapar- Director General of Tourism Malaysia together with Brand Event Ambassador Dato Aaron Aziz, Amber Chia & Chan Fong along with the jointly organizer by both Malaysia companies DKing and LKE Musang Queen.

According to Mr Leron Yee, Founder of DKing & Founder & Organizer of Malaysia International Durian & Cultural Fest 2023, the event has already garnered significant interest, with 3,000 local durian enthusiasts and 600 international durian lovers securing their tickets for the sumptuous durian buffet. Additionally, there will be 1,200 participants in the exhilarating durian fun run.
In a heartfelt gesture to thank all the dedicated durian enthusiasts who stood by the event despite its postponement due to the unfortunate durian disease black spot in July 2023, the value of the event’s goodies bags has been generously increased from RM250 to RM600, serving as a token of appreciation. During the event, there will also be lucky draws for the customers. While customers enjoy the durian buffet, they can enjoy performances by local artistes. Customers can also sing to win Musang King every hour!
Notably, one of the event’s strategic partners, MELIFE, has an ambitious goal of breaking a Malaysia Book of Records record and raising funds for charity. This remarkable feat will take place on 10rh September 2023, from 8 am to 8 pm. The highlight of the day will be the presentation of the Malaysia Book of Records award at 8 pm, featuring their esteemed Guest of Honor, Y.M. Tengku Dato Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi bin Y.A.M. Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Alhaj.
