Exploring Batu Caves – Kuala Lumpur's – #1 Attraction!!

We are finally headed to Batu Caves to explore one of the Top Attractions in Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia!. Just outside Kuala Lumpur city, sits the famous Batu Caves, with the iconic coloured stairs and giant statue of the Hindu diety of war. We have seen pictures, watched videos and are very excited to finally be there to experience Batu Caves ourselves. Simply standing at the base of the 277 stairs that lead up to the caves, felt different in person.
Wanting to make the most of everything, we wanted to see the famous Cathedral Cave, but we also wanted to see at least a few of the other, less famous caves at Batu.
We hope that you appreciate our honest views of Batu Caves. It certainly was not what we expected in all ways. Batu Caves was “confusing” to us if we are honest. The natural wonder of this enormous cave is juxtaposed with very colourful Hindu statues, temples and smaller random things that seem to have been forgotten. There is concrete and roosters, some garbage, random ladders, barrels and other things that just make you forget what you are there to see at times. Its important to look up and past some of this seemingly random bits and bobs, to truly enjoy the experience.
We always strive to bring you the best perspective, to bring you the positive and wonderous sights, tastes and experiences as we travel, but we also strive to be humbly and respectfully honest in our videos.
