The Kuala Lumpur High Court today quashed the conviction and sentence imposed by a Sessions Court on a technician for posting offensive Facebook comments on the controversial socks with the word Allah.
Judge Ahmad Bache passed the verdict after allowing a review filed by Chiok Wai Loong, saying that the confession he made before he was sentenced to six months in jail and fined RM12,000 was not clear, unconditional, and inadmissible, reported Berita Harian.
