ALOR SETAR: A PKR leader said Malaysians should ignore the likes of former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang, labelling the duo as “troublemakers”.
Saifuddin Nasution Ismail said Mahathir and Hadi had been problematic for the past three decades.
“And in the last five years they have created political instability and put their personal interest above the country’s,” the PKR secretary-general said at a ceramah here tonight.
While, Saifuddin did not go into specifics, Mahathir and Hadi had touched on race-related issues.
Mahathir spoke out against multiculturalism and lashed out against non-Malays and claimed that the community wanted to change Malaysia’s “name and ownership”.
Hadi meanwhile had blamed non-Muslim Malaysians and non-Bumiputeras for being at the root of corruption and accused them of ruining the country’s politics and economy.
