Is Malaysia Ready For Electric Vehicles?

18

“I’m really interested in getting an electric vehicle, but what if I run out of power, and cannot find a charging station near me?”

How much can a full charge last? How much more expensive is an EV, compared to a fuel-powered car? And does Malaysia have the right infrastructure to cater to the increasing electric vehicle demand?

In this new video with Tenaga Nasional Berhad, we explore all these questions and more with Ir. Mohd Junaizee, Project Director (PMO EV) of Tenaga Nasional Berhad.

Focus on generating renewable energy first. Then you can commit on EVs. If not, then it's all BS.

Not ready yet & would replace it by when..With the slow pace of infrastructure, early users of EV are still facing problem & options are expensive. Consumers still need to make sound judgement to ensure ease of use.

Before moving too far, please just focus on those simple things! People living in Kedah state will know, those roads with full of potholes and broke down lampposts that will never been fixed for example! Road construction that took years to done and along the time just left dark without any light at night that caused accidents! Lampposts that installed to light up people houses instead of light up the road! Very well planned the state government of Kedah👍🏻 as an outsider now staying at Kedah for quite sometime, I felt pretty sad for people in Kedah. Please just focus on improving these simple things first at least! Citizens are paying taxes tho… money should well use on improving these things but…?
