Over at MWC 2025, Lenovo gave visitors their first glimpse of their ThinkBook with the foldable display, Codename Flip. Yes, that’s the current working name, and yes, it is still just proof of concept.
“Building on Lenovo’s legacy of pioneering AI-driven business computing, the ThinkBook “Codename Flip” AI PC Concept represents the next evolution in adaptive, AI-powered form factors. As one of the centrepieces of Lenovo’s MWC 2025 showcase, it redefines how professionals interact with AI-enhanced workflows and dynamic work environments.”
As for the specs of it, the foldable display is an 18.1-inch outward folding OLED display that, when folded, transforms into a 13-inch laptop. Beneath the hood, the “Codename Flip” houses an Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU, 32GB LPDDR5X memory, along with an unspecified SSD capacity that we’re guessing is PCIe 4.0.
“Codename Flip” also comes with Thunderbolt 4 ports, a fingerprint reader, and, based on the pictures, an SDCard reader
As far as concept designs go, it’s unclear if Lenovo will ever enter this model into mass production. That said, it is still an interesting take on the convertible, 2-in-1 laptop.
