Mercedes-Benz 2024 Luxury Showcase
Mercedes-Benz once again wowed the crowd as it debuted four brand new cars for the Malaysian market. From sleek sedans to powerful sports cars and even smart SUVs, these brand new releases have elevated the standard of what it means to be a luxury car.
The first and perhaps biggest star of the recent showcase was the new Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC. This beautiful beast is an amalgamation of the GLS and Maybach models, combining the strengths and performance of the former with the elegance of the latter.
It has Maybach-patterned air inlet grilles with chrome surrounds. A 23-inch Maybach multi-spoke forged wheel combines exclusive design and motorsport technology. The interior features a new seat cover design that emphasises the Mercedes-Maybach’s particularly luxurious character. The executive seats and continuous reclining surface provide a premium riding experience and allow passengers to sleep comfortably on long journeys.
Contrast this with the sheet power of the Mercedes-AMG S 63 E Performance. Easily one of the most powerful sedans on the market, the AMG S 63 E Performance is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.3 seconds and has a top speed of 290 km/h. Despite these peak speeds, you can rest assured that you are gliding on air thanks to its AMG RIDE CONTROL+ air suspension and AMG ACTIVE RIDE CONTROL roll stabilisation.
Mercedes-Benz may be a luxury car designer, but it also has something in store for those who’d like to treat their large family to a cruising experience like no other. The Mercedes-Benz GLS 450 4MATIC is an S-class SUV whose exterior exudes a unique kind of powerful and dynamic elegance. This seven-seater SUV is armed to the bolts with the best entertainment system any family would need for those long road trips, such as the Burmester® surround sound system, ENERGIZING AIR CONTROL, Premium Plus Package, and Driving Assistance Package. Rear passengers enjoy the Rear Comfort Package Plus and 2 USB slots in the rear with 100W charging.
Last but not least, the Mercedes-Benz CLE 300 4MATIC Coupé is a sporty and refined two-door designed for the sophisticated car enthusiast. The CLE Coupé is the first Mercedes-Benz model in Malaysia to include DIGITAL LIGHT with a projection function. The AMG Line exterior with Night Package features sporty, expressive design elements in high-gloss black, including the radiator grille and 19-inch AMG multi-spoke light-alloy wheels. Japanese Skincare Brand POLA Launch At Seibu TRX
Leading Japanese skincare specialist POLA recently launched its counter at Seibu in The Exchange TRX – and we were there to witness it all! The prestigious beauty brand is known for its products that blend advanced technology with traditional Japanese ingredients to offer amazing results.
At the opening of their new counter, we learned more about the brand’s history and its range of products, including best-sellers like the award-winning B.A. line. Check out the POLA counter on the Ground Floor of Seibu in The Exchange TRX.

vivo’s Art of Portraiture Photography Session
For the very first time in Malaysia, vivo hosted a photography-sharing session called the Art of Portraiture at Red Carpet 2@ I-City recently. The event marked a significant milestone for the latest addition to the V series, the vivo V30 Pro, featuring ZEISS technology improving its camera capabilities.

Magic: The Gathering: Outlaws Of Thunder Junction Pre-release
Draw your weapons, outlaws, because its high time that we visit the wild west in Magic: The Gathering’s latest new set, Outlaws of Thunder Junction. We were once again invited by Wizards of the Coast to take part in this closed-door event, cracking packs and getting the first taste of some cowboy-flavoured magic.
Before we hopped on the saddle, we were first given a preview of all the things to expect from the set – from powerful weapons to a menagerie of creatures and, of course, some ragtag criminals. With that brief review, we were then tasked with completing several puzzles to unlock a great vault that is said to be housing invaluable treasures, and they weren’t wrong as it contained collector booster packs from Outlaws of Thunder Junction.
With that, we officially created our decks. As the sun reached high noon, we stared our opponents down as we prepared to duel it out. You can get in on the gunslinging fun on Friday, 19th April when the set officially releases. See the fun we had during the event:
