MSI Laptops With Intel Meteor Lake Core Ultra CPUs Appears

0

Intel’s 14th Gen Meteor Lake CPU lineup for laptops were announced just a couple of months prior but as it so happens, laptop manufacturers such as MSI are already having its laptops fitted with the new Core Ultra – the new and default branding of these processors moving forward, now that the chipmaker is dropping the “i” moniker – have appeared on some retail listings.

Specifically, the new Meteor Lake Core Ultra CPUs are reportedly set to drive MSI’s new AI laptops, of which the brand is expected to introduce two sizes: a 13.3-inch and 16-inch, and both of them were posted on the Newegg site. The listings have since been taken down, but not before a screenshot was obtained.

The MSI AI laptops that was previously listed show three laptops being listed, all of which are seemingly equipped with the Core Ultra 7 155H, with the lowest model starting at US$1,049 (~RM4,951) and from the looks of it, these prices are based on the storage capacity of each SKU. Storage capacities, by the way, start from 512GB and go all the way up to 2TB. As with all 14th Gen Meteor Lake CPUs, these laptops only seem to feature the blue chipmaker’s ARC discrete graphics that are also part of the new CPU generation.

There are also other MSI Core Ultra laptops on the list, including but not limited to:

  • Prestige 16 AI Studio
  • Prestige 16 AI Evo
  • Prestige 16 AI Studio Evo
  • Stealth 14 AI Studio
  • Stealth 14 AI
  • Creator Pro 16 AI Studio
  • Stealth Pro 16 AI

While there is still no confirmation from the supposed retailers, the launch dates for these laptops are expected to be available between 18 and 22 December, which is a bit earlier than expect; typically, brand partners like MSI would wait until the start of the year to announced such products, even more so with CES 2024 just around the corner.

That said, Intel has already scheduled a livestream event that is expect to take place on 14 December, and it is unlikely that we’ll be seeing any products using its latest chipset becoming available on launch day.
