There is a recent release of the new software call My Free Website Builder which is a html editor software. It is suppose to work like the FrontPage or Dreamweaver software. I am going to list the advantages and disadvantages of this software.
The major advantage of this software is that it is free and it performs the same function as the paid software like Frontpage and Dreamweaver. You will be able to use the software on both the Windows and Mac computer.
It will be easy to use as video tutorials will be available for people who are new to designing a website. It also over 100+ in-built website templates which will saves people a lot of time and trouble. They will just need to select one template, do some minor changes and their website will be created.
The next good feature of the software is that it has instant one-click website publishing. They will be able to send their website to their hosting account from their software directly without downloading and using any FTP software.
Although is has many good feature and it is very easy to use, this software is more catered to people who are only basic website designer or to people who have never make a website before. You will not be able to use the advance features that Dreamweaver has. Professional website designer will find this software too basic for them.
Nonetheless, it is still a very good software for people who are new and want to create their own software. They will be able to use this free “My Free Website Builder” software first to learn how to build a basic website. Once they know the basics, they will have a better idea of which future software that they need if they want to do some advance features to their website.
