Over the years, the roads in Kuala Lumpur have gone through many developments. That means new junctions, turns, and traffic stops – but is there one area in the city that is particularly confusing? According to netizens – absolutely!
In a tweet by @/brgsjks where he listed down the most confusing roads in KL, he mentioned that the worst roads are those in the KL Eco City and Mid Valley City area. According to the Twitter user, most drivers will be lost in the many junctions and confusing turns. He added that 9 Grab drivers out of 10 going into the area will end up lost. He even joked that the roads there aren’t just a time loop but perhaps a black hole.

The user had many other drivers agreeing with his tweet, mostly saying they’ve also experienced getting lost in the area. One driver said that despite living in Old Klang Road for over a year, he still gets lost in the area when he goes to Mid Valley. Some even joked that if they had to drive into the area, they would feel like breaking down because of how confusing it can get.
Others also lamented that driving in the area is particularly challenging because the Waze navigation app will go haywire when it enters the area due to detection issues, making it more difficult to navigate the junctions. A Grab driver even said that he used to hate getting bookings from KL Eco City and Mid Valley Megamall, particularly from foreigners who tend to get confuse by the various landmarks and stop points.

The Twitter user also listed a few other confusing roads (The Mines, Bandar Utama) in the city but what do you think about the roads in the KL Eco City and Mid Valley City area? Do you also find them confusing?
