Orient Star has released two new M34 Avant-garde F8 Skeleton models from its Contemporary Collection M34. Combining sophistication and high performance, the two new models come in regular black and a limited-edition gold (with only 300 units available).
The refined models meld bold designs with an advanced automatic movement with a silicon escape wheel. The black model is characterised by a solid metallic feel, while the gold exudes luxury.
Orient Star is committed to skeleton watches, as they are an expression of mechanical watchmaking. The Avant-garde Skeleton has gained popularity among watch aficionados for its dynamic designs and openwork, showcasing advanced precision processing technology.
The M34 is named after the Perseus constellation, known for its meteor showers and offers one of Orient Star’s most diverse line-ups. With an emphasis on technology, the M34 Avant-garde F8 Skeleton is considered to be one of the collection’s iconic models.
The regular model combines a black-plated case, highlighting its solid metallic feel, with a metal bracelet that is also black-plated.
The uniformity of the case and metal bracelet, combined with the precision-moulded openwork dial with complex dual-layered structure, further highlights the cutting-edge feel of the popular all-black model.
The limited-edition gold model is based on the theme of desert luxury. Evoking a rich urban lifestyle surrounded by sparkling golden sand, the model’s unique openwork dial, hexagonal screws, case, and crown are all coloured gold to add a feeling of warmth, creating a completely different impression from the regular model.
The khaki-coloured nylon, with a yellow-coloured leather lining, is coordinated to match the case, tying together the overall design.
The M34 Avant-garde F8 Skeleton models with contrasting designs are both powered by the automatic calibre F8F64 with a silicon escape wheel. The calibre F8F64 is adorned with Geneva stripes on the surface and has a partially hollowed-out base plate revealing a blue silicon escape wheel near the small seconds subdial at 6 o’clock.
The silicon escape wheel is created using cutting-edge high precision manufacturing technology which has been registered for Japanese and international patents. In addition, the caliber F8F64 offers a power reserve of 60 hours and a high accuracy of +15 seconds to -5 seconds per day, for practical performance.
