POCO has officially unveiled the new X6 series, its latest mid-range smartphone lineup. The series consists of the regular X6 as well as the Pro model, offering upper-mid-range specs in a relatively low price range, with both phones coming with three colour options respectively.
Let’s start with the X6 Pro. It has a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a peak brightness of 1,800 nits, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for durability — the two smartphones also carry an IP54 dust and water resistance rating. Inside, it runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8300-Ultra chipset with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Connectivity-wise, it supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.
On the other hand, the vanilla X6 gets a similar 6.67-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display but it is protected by the stronger Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. Under the hood, it uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. On the connectivity side, it offers support for 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
For photography, both devices feature a 64MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP front shooter. The regular X6 is powered by 5,100mAh battery while the Pro model gets a slightly lower 5,000mAh capacity, with both phones supporting 67W charging.
The X6 is available on Lazada for RM1,199 for the 8GB+256GB variant, RM1,299 for the 12GB+256GB variant, and RM1,499 for the 12GB+512GB variant. On Shopee, you’ll find the X6 Pro with a starting price of RM1,499 for the 8GB+256GB variant while the 12GB+512GB variant costs RM1,699. From 11 to 18 January, you can get both phones at a special early bird price that comes with a RM200 discount for the Pro model and a RM140 discount for the vanilla model.
