In this video, check out the top attractions of Ipoh and our honest review of each place. We started our day with Kellie’s castle which is also believed to be the haunted castle and ended our day with Concubine Lane.

All the places are beautiful and we don’t mean to hurt anybody’s feelings in this video. Just complete honesty and story telling.

Kellie’s Castle:
Kellie’s Castle is found in Batu Gajah, in the Kinta District of Perak, Malaysia. This half-finished, crumbling mansion was constructed by a Scottish planter named William Kellie-Smith. There are various stories about its purpose; some say it was meant as a present for his wife, while others believe it was intended as a home for his son. The castle sits next to the Raya River, which is a small stream that flows into the Kinta River.

Gua Tempurung Cave:
Tempurung Cave is a limestone cave found in Gopeng, Perak, Malaysia, stretching over 4 kilometers, which makes it one of the longest caves in Peninsular Malaysia. The name comes from its resemblance to a coconut shell. This cave extends for about 1.9 km and is thought to have been around since 8000 BC.

Tasik Cermin:
Nestled at the base of the iconic limestone formations in Ipoh, near Gunung Rapat, you’ll find Tasik Cermin. This stunning lake, known for its incredible reflections, earned its name and has been recognized as one of Malaysia’s geoparks because of its unique charm.

Tasik Cermin features two main sections: Tasik Cermin 1, also called Mirror Lake, and Tasik Cermin 2, known as Hidden World. You can hop on a boat for an exciting journey through tunnels and around breathtaking hills, soaking in the lake’s beauty. The best time to experience Tasik Cermin is in the morning when the sunlight creates the most stunning reflections.

Concubine Lane:
Concubine Lane in Ipoh has a fascinating history that spans over 120 years, making it one of the hottest spots in the area. It’s buzzing with cafes, pop-up stalls, souvenir shops, and dessert places.

Once known for its charming old coffee shops, Concubine Lane has undergone a major makeover and is now packed with visitors. There are tons of unique stalls to explore, making it a dream destination for Instagrammers, photographers, and anyone who loves to wander.
