Unfortunately, celebrities often have their private details leaked online. Recently, Chinese actress Dilraba Dilmurat (迪丽热巴) almost had her personal information leaked after someone found her identification documents in Japan.

According to reports, the search term “Netizen Finds Dilraba’s Visa in Japan” went viral on Chinese social media on 19th March 2025 (Wednesday). As it turns out, a fan in Tokyo had found the actress’ passport and South Korean travel visa at a cafe. A photo of the visa page was then shared online, albeit mostly mosaiced to cover the star’s personal information. However, Dilraba’s picture was left uncovered to alert her agency about the passport.

After the post went viral, Dilraba’s team confirmed the documents’ authenticity. However, they also clarified that the visa was from a previous trip and is no longer valid. They also stated that the actress has no imminent plans to travel to Japan and urged the public to refrain from making unfounded speculations. The team also said they would contact the fan regarding retrieving the passport.

Despite the explanation, fans are understandably upset with Dilraba’s team for misplacing the actress’ documents. Many also brought up past incidents of the same company’s employee losing other artists’ belongings, sparking anger over the lack of care and responsibility. Others argued that the lack of vigilance towards important documents hints at the possibility of mismanagement on other matters like health and safety.

In addition, some also speculated how Dilraba’s passport made its way to the cafe. Many pointed out that the 32-year-old was recently in Japan for an official schedule, theorising that a staff member left the passport when they visited the store during the trip. However, some noted that her team previously claimed that the actress was never in Japan, prompting confusion over the inconsistency.

Regardless of how it happened, we hope Dilraba’s team will be more careful. While the team could replace the passport, it’s hard to say what would happen if the contents of the documents got into the wrong hands.
