Suunto previously launched the Aqua bone conduction headphones near the end of least year, and now the brand has a follow up of sorts. It’s called the Aqua Light, offering most of the features as the base model, though with some compromises to trim bits off the price tag.
Starting with things that the Suunto Aqua Light has in common with the Aqua, both come with up to 10 hours of playback time with a full charge, and both give you 32GB of storage space for offline audio. Though as the name suggests, the Light makes do without the motion controls that the base model has. And while it also has an IP68 rating, the Light is only rated waterproof for up to 2m rather than 5m.
A smaller detail is that both models have their charging pogo pin connectors are placed in different locations, and it doesn’t look like the Suunto Aqua Light comes with its own proprietary power bank. On the flip side though, for whatever reason the Light model has Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity where the base model gets Bluetooth 5.3.
To wrap it all up, the Suunto Aqua Light comes with a price of RM699 in Tidal Black and Reef Blue colourways. The brand says that it’s available immediately, either from its own official e-store, official stores on Shopee, Lazada and TikTok, as well as select retailers.
