Badminton star Loh Kean Yew (骆建佑) has recently celebrated a personal milestone, welcoming his first child, a baby boy. On 7th August, the athlete shared the joyous news on Instagram, marking a heartwarming moment for the athlete and his family.
Despite his recent Olympic campaign in Paris ending with a quarterfinal defeat to Denmark’s Viktor Axelsen, Loh’s spirits have been lifted by the arrival of his newborn son. In his Instagram post, Loh expressed his excitement and love, writing, “Welcome to the world, our precious little one.”
The badminton player also took the opportunity to extend his gratitude to those who supported him during this period, particularly his in-laws. He noted their crucial role in caring for his wife while he was away for tournaments, allowing him to focus on his career. “Thankful for the support received during my wife’s pregnancy journey, especially my in-laws for taking extra care of her when I’m away for tournaments so that I could focus well,” he remarked.
