The CEO Of Fragrances: Terre d’Hermès Eau De Parfum Intense

It churns, burning hot. Nothing and no one has ever travelled to the centre of the Earth. Its immense energy rises upwards, from layer to layer, and passes through the Earth’s mantle.

Slowly, the tectonic plates shift, taking the rocks with them. Surging upwards, this accumulated power reaches the surface – and the bare feet of a man who stands there.

As the man observes the canyon that winds through the rock and the immaculate sky above, he feels the heat of the fire rising up his legs. His body quivers, and all the scents of the world tremble within him. Around his skin swirl the freshness of lively bergamot, the intoxicating scent of burning wood and the intensity of lava stone.

The air is redolent with aromas of coffee beans and rich notes of liquorice. All the fragrances buried within the Earth envelop him. Along the soles of his feet, he can feel the infinite power of the Earth beneath.

This intense new expression of Terre d’Hermès is given tangible form in the pure lines of a bottle adorned with a searing, almost molten red-brown lacquer. Designed by Philippe Mouquet, the bottle is a concentrated expression of the power of inner fire.

The H on its base leaves an incandescent imprint in the Earth. On its shoulders, light is reflected off the surface of its metal mantle. The matt black cap resembles dense lava stone and is stamped with the Hermès saddle nail. The bottle is refillable, designed to last and made from two recyclable materials: glass and aluminium.
