This Week’s Parties, Premieres & Presentations ROCKED. And We Were There!

Every week brings something new to town. It can be hard to keep track of every major happening – but we did it! And we had so much fun! Here’s a list of dope events we went to over the past few weeks:

BOOST Par-tay!

In conjunction with Chinese New Year and as a way of thanking its media partners, Boost Malaysia held a Media Kick-off Event last week. They showcased plenty of cultural performances while affording guests a delightful multiple-course dinner. It was a truly enjoyable night, with many wishing Boost well as they continue their efforts to create greater financial inclusion in Malaysia and the region.

Secret Recipe Is GINORMOUS!

Secret Recipe, which has been delighting Malaysians for over 25 years, hit a major milestone recently with the opening of its 350th outlet, at 1 Utama. But hold on to your horses, because, according to Managing Director Patrick Sim, Secret Recipe aims to have over 400 outlets by the end of 2025!

Highly-anticipated horror film “Harum Malam”, by renowned filmmaker Dain Said, had its star-studded gala premiere at GSC, The Starling Mall, Petaling Jaya. The movie’s freakishly fabulous stars made “appearances” at the event, and they included Idan Aedan, Bront Palarae, Remy Ishak, Nadiya Nisaa, and Joey Daud!

Valentine’s Day With 1664 Rosé

We toasted the launch of Le Cinema Lounge 1664! Starting 10th February, at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur’s DADI Cinema, customers will enjoy a wonderful evening at Le Cinema Lounge 1664. Viu Malaysia released the first two episodes of one of its most highly-anticipated series, “Nenek Bongkok Tiga”, which stars Hun Haqeem, Meerqeen, Sherie Merlis, Sara Ali, Syafie Naswip, Sara Mack Lubis, Fimie Don, Syazwan Zulkifly, Ashraf Muslim, Sofia Jane, and Rykarl Iskandar.

The red carpet premiere of the first episode took place at DADI Cinema, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, with appearances by the cast; as well as musical acts Chronicalz, Nakalness, Kidd Santhe, and KunfuHeidi!
