(Video) Tony Fernandes To Reward M’sian Olympic Winners With Free AirAsia Flights?

As our country celebrates the triumphant wins from our hard-working athletes who have done their best representing our country. A certain airline CEO has also shared his celebration, possibly with a surprise reward as well.

AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes has shared his personal excitement for our champions at the Olympics with a heartfelt video posted to his Instagram account captioning the post, Mother’s pride @sohwooiyik and country finally got a deserved Bronze. What a match. Well done @aaronchiatengfong. A fight and mental strength at last.”

The video showed the CEO at the international multi-sport event cheering on our dazzling athletes. Truly a heartwarming moment when we as Malaysians support each other, no matter our title. The public figure’s comments were filled with Malaysians asking for discounted flights and free holidays to reward our hard-working athletes. One user even snuck in a comment suggesting the players get free flight tickets.

In the businessman’s fashion, he didn’t let that comment slide as he replied with, “This, can”, implying that he is considering rewarding our Malaysian heroes with free flights. How awesome is that? People may have divided opinions about the airline CEO but when it comes to rewards and treating his customers, he is definitely a man of his word.

Apart from the possible free flights, our star athletes’ rewards don’t end there. Each Bronze medal holder will be coming home to brand new SUVs as well as RM100k for their amazing performance at the Olympics.

We truly are extremely proud of our Malaysian Team who have brought home Olympic medals. The rewards awaiting them are well deserved and we will continue to support the remaining players and hope another medal will be brought back for our country.
