The paria /FARZANEH x HOKA Restore TC Chukka
paria /FARZANEH have been responsible for reshaping and redefining the menswear landscape since its inception in 2017. They have collaborated with other brands and famous people to bring us exciting outfits – but this time around, the brand has set its sights on the footwear scene.
With the help of HOKA, brands have joined forces to bring you a totally revamped version of Restore TC Chukka. Featuring a taller collar and a more robust build, these shoes are significantly larger than their original counterpart. Further bolstering its massive size is a much thicker outsole featuring more prominent protrusions.
The design and even chosen colour palette were directly influenced by a bakery close to Farzaneh’s design studio. Hence it is available in both “Cream” and “Chocolate” colour options, and both designs feature reflective detailing reminiscent of sprinkles or other similar toppings.
Additionally, both pairs feature jacquard motifs across the upper, mohair detailing, and elastic zigzag laces, all of which pay homage to Farzaneh’s Iranian ancestry.
The paria /FARZANEH x HOKA Restore TC Chukka will be available for purchase on 11th October via the HOKA and paria /FARZANEH webstores, as well as select physical stores for US$145 (~RM621).
The CLOT x adidas Superstar “Tan” by Edison Chen
For almost a year now, rumours have been circulating of Edison Chen and Kevin Poon’s CLOT secretly working behind the scenes with adidas to cook up a brand new collaboration. After months of radio silence, the rumours have been proven true, as the adidas Superstar “Tan” was revealed.
Despite its new colourway, everything you know and love about the OG is still there. This unique Superstar maintains its shape, such as its durable leather upper, exposed EVA outsole structure, ripple sole, and redesigned shell toe.
As previously stated, the upper is decorated with its primary “Tan” colour, while other areas, like the midsole, are kissed with browns and whites.
This release is a genuine celebration of uniqueness and cultural diversity thanks to its sophisticated colour scheme and meticulous attention to detail.
The CLOT x adidas Superstar “Tan” by Edison Chen will be available for purchase on JUICE on 12th October for US$180 (~RM770).
