Two heads are better than one, yes – but one of our footwear highlights this week is the result of a collab by three epic brands.
From a clean, minimalist sneaker, to a futuristic tank-like design – these kicks are here to rock your world and be the centrepiece of your collection.
Footpatrol x Hiking Patrol x Reebok InstaPump Fury
Fresh off its previous collab, Footpatrol is once again joining forces with Reebok and the Norwegian brand Hiking Patrol for an unconventional triple-threat collab!
The three brands have created a new special edition of the Reebok InstaPump Fury which features a brand new design motif, with all-new materials to boot.
First and foremost, the shoe features an overhauled look, with portions of the upper raised like armour panels.
The body predominantly features an off-white outer shell with dark purple details scattered around it. Made with neoprene, it promises an unparalleled walking and running experience.
As for its silhouette, the sneaker features prominent arched soles that are broken into two large portions that support the heel and the toe box.
Both of these areas have a light tan colour with a black bumper directly on top of it for additional contrast to the body.
Each of the three partners is dynamically represented with the Footpatrol and Hiking Patrol logos embroidered beneath the heel tabs and the Reebok logo engraved into the quarter panel.
Three emblems and word marks alternate on the purple insoles, while the Reebok logo is displayed beneath the toes on an elaborately adorned outsole.
The Footpatrol x Hiking Patrol x Reebok InstaPump Fury is an elaborate creation that is one for the history books and deserves a spot in your collection. It’s set to release on 20th March at the Footpatrol London and Paris stores, as well as the label’s online shop. Each pair priced at £180 (RM1,036).
BAPE x adidas Superstar
The long-standing partnership between BAPE and adidas has resulted in numerous unique footwear collaborations.
Over the course of their multi-decade collaboration, the Superstar has undergone several transformations, including a BOOST-enabled version produced in collaboration with fellow Japanese label, NEIGHBOURHOOD.
The adidas and BAPE team is back with a new version of the shell toe sneaker, this time in the colours “Blue” and “Footwear White.”
These trainer versions, which come in black and white patent leather, respectively, have the Three Stripes on the left side and the BAPE STA motif on the right.
The foil APE HEAD branding on the lateral heel is matched by a co-branded golden dubrae at the front of the shoe.
The pair is completed by an embossed camo pattern across the base of the leather upper and a simple off-white sole unit.
At the time of writing, neither brand has come forward to announce when the shoe will hit the shelves, nor its price. However, it has been rumoured to land later this year in the spring, so keep your eyes peeled by checking out BAPE’s and adidas’ official webstores.
