2024 China (Changsha) Engineering Machinery Remanufacturing (Second hand) Equipment Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference (Malaysia) was successfully held

On August 22, local time, the third Hunan Equipment and Manufacturing into the ASEAN Investment Expo opened. The event aims to take advantage of the new opportunities brought about by the opening of the RCEP region, the construction machinery industry chain in Southeast Asia, to build an international platform for economic and trade exchanges. In the meantime, the 2024 China (Changsha) Engineering Machinery Remanufacturing (Second hand) Equipment Economic and Trade Matchmaking Conference (Malaysia)was successfully held.

At the event, more than 80 entrepreneurial representatives from China and Malaysia gathered in Kuala Lumpur to discuss the space for cooperation and precise cooperation through face-to-face exchanges.

Mr. Lu Haiwen, Deputy Director of Changsha Exhibition Management Office, said that the scale of Malaysia’s construction industry continues to increase, the infrastructure construction process is accelerating, and the development trend of the construction machinery industry is favorable. China-Malaysia relations have been friendly for generations, Changsha is known as the capital of ‘construction machinery’, and the industrial docking with Malaysia is deepening. We hope that Chinese and Malaysian entrepreneurs will take this opportunity to communicate and exchange face-to-face, grasp the opportunities and challenges of development, further deepen exchanges and cooperation, and open up new horizons for future development.

In his speech, Mr. Leong Foo Yew President of Persatuan Ampunya jentera Pembinaan Berat Malaysia(PAPBM), the conference not only provides a platform for industry professionals to showcase their latest technologies and products but also provides a valuable opportunity for Malaysian construction machinery owner community to exchange experiences and explore possibilities for co-operation.

Mr. Lin Yee Hong, President of Selangor & Federal Territory Machinery Merchants Association(SAFMA), said that Changsha, as the capital of China’s construction machinery, has always been at the forefront of technological innovation and industrial upgrading. This economic and trade matchmaking meeting provides a rare opportunity for the SAFMA, to enable in-depth exchanges between Malaysian and Chinese enterprises to jointly promote the development of the construction machinery remanufacturing sector.

Mr.Gao Xiaomin, Deputy Director of the institutional innovation Bureau of the Administrative Committee. Changsha area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone made a speech, he stated that Kuala Lumpur and Changsha are culturally and industrially related, introduced the status of Changsha area of China (Hunan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, and issued a warm invitation to the Malaysian construction machinery entrepreneurs present to visit the city.

Mr.Yuan Zhen  Secretary General of Hunan Remanufactured Engineering Machinery Export Industry Alliance, Introduced in detail the business scope of the Alliance, the main products and services organizational advantages, and so on. He said that Changsha has a strong industrial chain and excellent supporting facilities, and looks forward to deeper cooperation with Malaysia’s national construction, engineering contractors, business associations, and so on, to jointly develop the market and achieve mutual benefit and win-win situation.

At the scene of the event, a signing ceremony for economic and trade cooperation was held. Hunan Remanufactured  Engineering Machinery Export Industry Alliance & Federal Territory Machinery Merchants Association(SAFMA), Changsha Jizhi Shulian Co., LTD&Success Materials Handling (M) Sdn Bhd, Signed separately strategic cooperation agreement. According to these agreements, China and Malaysia will focus on the export of construction machinery remanufacturing (second-hand) equipment, mutual recognition of standards, and other aspects of deepening cooperation, to further improve the economic and trade exchanges between the two sides, and to jointly build Changsha for the export of construction machinery remanufacturing (second-hand) equipment to Malaysia and other countries in Southeast Asia a new paradigm.

The successful holding of this meeting has deepened the potential of economic and trade cooperation between the two sides and further promoted the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between Changsha and Malaysia.
