Liam Payne’s Girlfriend Kate Cassidy Writes Touching Tribute Despite New Revelation That He Cheated
The tragic news on the passing of One Direction member Liam Payne took a big toll on his fans, the Directioners. And despite not having had time to move on, fans have been slammed by a bombshell allegation – that the pop star was seen with two sex workers in the hours before his death.
Sources involved in an investigation on Payne’s death told a local Argentine news outlet that two 25-year-old prostitutes admitted to drinking and partying with the 31-year-old star before his death. The two women also claimed that they were invited to Liam’s room at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel after being called via an escort service. The women reportedly arrived at around 11:30am and left a few hours later after arguing about payment. According to Page Six, Liam’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, was initially unaware of the two escorts and was devastated when she heard the news.
Despite knowing that her lover had been with other girls right before he passed, Kate posted a touching tribute to the late singer on her Instagram, along with a string of photos of them together. She stated that she didn’t know where to begin as she was hurt and couldn’t seem to put her feelings into words. According to her, Liam had a “huge impact on the world,” as he brought immense “happiness and positivity to everyone.” Along the lines of her post, she also stated that Liam was to ask for her hand in marriage sometime soon.
Many fans on X (formerly Twitter) praised Cassidy for not being negative on the issue. They said that she is a good person for still being in love with the late artist, despite his alleged indiscretion. Some even defended the singer, claiming that the cheating claims are false. Others, though, said they believe the allegation.
One of the sources for the allegation that sex workers were with Payne before his death is The New York Post, which many insist isn’t credible, as they claim it’s known for making up stories for recognition, and that fans shouldn’t believe everything they read online. All in all, many stated that it is the downside of being with someone famous, as artists tend to cheat on their partners. Meanwhile, others commented that fans should have some compassion and respect his passing and avoid spreading stories and news regarding his death.
