Love is in the air for national badminton player Tan Kian Meng (陈健铭) and his lovely bride! Following their wedding banquet last weekend, the couple took to Instagram to share photos of the stunning affair.
According to reports, Tan Kian Meng and his bride, Zing Chang, held their wedding last Saturday (30th November 2024). The event was attended by family and friends, including the groom’s fellow national shuttlers. The pair then shared photos of them dressed in traditional Chinese wedding garments. Netizens have since commented on the post, congratulating Kian Meng on his marriage and even praising his bride’s beauty.
The Malaysian mixed doubles shuttler proposed to his now-wife in November 2022, and the two registered their marriage in August 2024. Kian Meng and Zing’s marriage announcement received many congratulatory messages and well wishes from loved ones and netizens. The couple have reportedly been together for over a decade and often show off their love for each other on social media.
As of writing, the couple have yet to share photos from the wedding reception. However, many guests have taken to social media to post about the event. Malaysian badminton players Low Juan Shen (刘隽程) and Ong Yew Sin shared several photos from the reception, revealing that many other shuttlers attended the wedding, including national women’s doubles player Pearly Tan and Singaporean player Loh Kean Yew.
It appears Kian Meng and Zing had the majority of the Malaysia national badminton team to cheer on their special day. Once again, congratulations to the happy couple on their wedding, and we wish them all the love and happiness.
