Acer Announces Nitro Google TV Monitors, A 4K Portable Monitor

As part of its announcements ahead of Computex 2025, Acer also announced a number of gaming-focused monitors, coming from both the Predator and Nitro range. Though the former category boasts higher raw numbers, the latter group end up being the more interesting ones, including a portable 4K monitor.

Starting with the Predator monitors, there are two 27-inch QD-OLED monitors in this bunch, designated the X27U F5 and the X27 X. The former has a WQHD resolution, which is paired with a blistering 500 Hz refresh rate. On the other hand, the latter has a bit more conventional 240 Hz refresh rate, but kicks resolution up to 4K. Both of them get AMD FreeSync Premium Pro support, and a 0.03ms GTG response time.

Moving on to the Acer Nitro models, we start with the more interesting Nitro GA321QK P and Nitro GA341CUR W0, which are 31.5-inch and 34-inch monitors respectively. The smaller of the two has the higher resolution at 4K, paired with a 165 Hz refresh rate, while the larger one gets a higher 240 Hz refresh rate in exchange for a QHD resolution. But what makes them interesting is that they are both Google TV devices, supporting WiFi and Bluetooth connections as well as Google Cast.

Finally, there’s the Acer Nitro PG271K (pictured at the top), which is a portable 27-inch 4K monitor. Granted, the size doesn’t make the argument convincing, but it has a a kickstand rather than a regular stand. At its full resolution, it is limited to a 72 Hz refresh rate, but you can dial things down to Full HD for a 144 Hz refresh rate instead.

Oddly enough, Acer did not provide any pricing availability details for the two Nitro Google TV monitors. For everything else, all they got was a vague Q3 window, with the Predator X27U F5 being priced at EUR899 while the X27 X getting a EUR1,099 price tag. The portable Nitro PG271K will instead be priced at EUR499. Local details were not provided, and we will likely have quite a wait ahead of us before those are available.
