Hi Unique Family,

In this vlog, I explore the Jonker street walk in Melaka (Malacca), a beautiful state with beautiful cities in Malaysia. I consider the Jonker street walk as the most busy night market in Malaysia!, what about you? I just started some episodes traveling around Malaysia, and I’ll be visiting different states and cities in Malaysia. This is episode 2 of the traveling Malaysia series, and I hope you’ll stay tuned and enjoy as you explore with Bolu, this beautiful country Malaysia. Feel free to check episode 1 of the travel on this channel.

How to get to Melaka? Well, it’s quite simple to navigate different states in Malaysia, as their transportation systems are well organized. There are different options of traveling, however, I decided to go by road as I wanted to explore and document all the trip for you all. By the way, the road transports in Malaysia is very comfortable, and free of hassles. More specifically, to get to Melaka (Malacca), Malaysia, there are buses traveling the route regularly from TBS, Terminal Bersepadu Selatan, the largest bus terminal in Malaysia, located at the outskirt of Kuala Lumpur. Let’s know a little about the jonker street walk here in Melaka (Malacca).

Malacca is popularly known for its harmonious blend of cultures as well as several historical sites, with Jonker Street (the main street of Chinatown) as the perfect place to have a view of the merge of most of the attractive spots in Melaka city. Known as the hub of activity, it also houses bargain hunters, food hawkers, not leaving aside the vintage fashion enthusiasts.

Whilst the main attraction of Jonker Street is its night market held every Friday and Saturday, you would see several well-preserved landmarks. Thus Jonker Street’s diversity amidst its traditional and urban attractions is a testament of the colorful history as well as rich multicultural society of Malaysia. Jonker street leaves visitors with lot of choices of as to which street food to try, as there are varieties of Malaysian street foods of diverse culture, as well as western foods too. Talking about drinks and deserts, the coconut shake is very common at the Jonker street night market, as there are a lot of stalls displaying them, alongside mango shakes, and smoothies. Cendol drink or dessert is also another tantalizing and enticing desert one may wish to try, as it comes in different forms and creativity.

Furthermore, from my explore in this episode, I could say that Melaka (Malacca), is one of the neatest cities in Malaysia, as everywhere is sparkling clean, with beautiful architectures around the city. I can’t wait to unleash more of the explore in this colorful Malaysia state.

I am a foreigner in Malaysia and have the passion to explore this beautiful country to the world. I do travel vlogs around Malaysia, a country in Southeast Asia, and show you what the country has to offer.

As of the time, this video was being taken, Malaysia is observing the Recovery Movement Control Order due to the covid19 pandemic around the world.
