PUTRAJAYA: The healthy ministry has announced it is expecting an increase in the number of Covid-19 cases in Malaysia over the next few months.
Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said this was because South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand were also seeing a rise in infections.
“We are worried about the next couple of months. Cases will be increasing. Now, even before winter, we are seeing an escalation in cases in other countries,” he said at a press conference today.
