Accusing someone of being abusive is not something to be taken lightly. If the accusations turn out to be false, then not only is the accused’s life affected, the person accusing will make everyone second-guess actual victims. Domestic abuse victims have gone through enough trouble to make people believe them, so be mindful before making any false statements.
Regardless, just like the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation case, these stories often divide people as some would choose to believe the accuser while others would believe the accused. It seems like another defamation case has arisen as actress Aishah Azman is now defending her brother after he was accused of abusing his ex-wife.
Malaysian actress Aishah Azman recently called out her ex-sister-in-law, model Pachara Apin for slandering her older brother, actor Afiq Muiz. The model apparently made allegations that her ex-husband broke her fingers and leg on Facebook earlier this month after the actor advised celebrity preacher Da’i Syed to treat his future wife well.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, Afiq’s sister denied all the domestic abuse allegations made by the Sabah-born public figure. “Who is actually being abused? You or my brother?” the 26-year-old responded with a photo of a scar on her brother’s arm.
In the same deleted post, the “Lockdown” star also made claims that Pachara’s wounds or injuries were self-inflicted and that she manipulated the story to make it look like she was the victim of abuse. “I swear to God, I know exactly what you did to my brother. From A to Z,” she said. If that wasn’t bad enough, the Kelantan-born celebrity also accused her ex-sister-in-law of being unfaithful to her brother throughout their marriage.

“You cheated on him, drank alcohol, went clubbing, ate pork, and even lived with a married man while you were also still married to my brother,” she stated. Aishah shared an alleged Whatsapp conversation between the model and another man to further prove her statement. The actress revealed that she hesitated in exposing her brother’s ex-wife but felt compelled to after the actor’s image was tarnished.

Today (Wednesday, 30th November), both celebrity siblings confirmed that they have filed a police report against Pachara over the abuse allegations. At the time of writing, the actor’s ex-wife has yet to release a statement regarding Aishah’s response.
