Alleged ARM-Based NVIDIA APU With 120W TDP Leaks

0

Moore’s Law is Dead (MLID) recently showed off what they claim to be an NVIDIA APU, designed for gaming laptops. It’s the closest and more recent look at what could potentially be the dieshot of the chipset that is rumoured to have been co-developed with MediaTek.

The brief look at the die also comes with some information. For starters, the NVIDIA APU is expected to have a TDP of up to 120W, and is supposedly an ARM-based processor. Second, the documentation that was passed together with the dieshot to MLID labelled the chip as being meant for “Gaming Laptops”, although we advise you to take this claim lightly.

Shipping expectations of the laptops fitted with the fabled NVIDIA APU is supposedly set between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026. Performance-wise, the GPU brand has internally compared it to a 65W-tuned RTX 4070 laptop GPU. There aren’t any metrics yet and mind you, it isn’t clear if that’s with ray tracing and upscaling turned on but, seeing how this is NVIDIA we’re talking about, it is possible.
