Amazfit has officially launched the T-Rex 3 and it is already available in Malaysia. It is the brand’s newest rugged smartwatch meant for outdoor use, complete with dual-band GPS, offline maps, and several AI features.
The T-Rex 3 gets a slightly larger 1.5-inch AMOLED display with a 480×480 resolution as well as a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, which is twice as bright as the T-Rex 2’s screen — it also has features a Night Display mode that turns the UI red, green, or orange to maintain nighttime visibility. With Corning Gorilla Glass and a stainless steel bezel, the smartwatch boasts military-grade durability and even the capability to be worn during a freedive up to 45m.
It gets up to 21 days of battery life with normal usage and the T-Rex 3 is integrated with Zepp Flow, which is an AI assistant. For health and fitness, it has over 170 built-in workout modes to track your activities along with sensors to monitor your heart rate and blood oxygen levels.
The T-Rex 3 retails at RM1,099 and comes in a single size and colour option. You can purchase it through the brand’s Shopee store starting 9 September 2024, but from 7 to 8 September, the smartwatch will be available at DirectD’s Mega Store.
