Rumours began circulating that Malaysian influencer Ameera Khan and Indonesian actor Jefri Nichol had broken up after she removed photos of them together from her Instagram. However, the entrepreneur appeared to dispel the speculation with a somewhat cryptic post, prompting a romantic comment from the actor in the replies.
It’s now evident that all is well with the couple after the 26-year-old apparently flew to Kuala Lumpur to visit his sweetheart. Here are the posts that had fans freaking out:
Yesterday (Monday, 14th April), Ameera Khan posted a carousel of photos on Instagram, showing her receiving a large bouquet of flowers from Jefri Nichol. “Best surprise EVER,” she captioned the post. Judging from the images, the couple appeared to be posing in front of the lifts at an unspecified hotel, possibly to attend an upcoming Dior event.
Prior to this, the Indonesian actor had already reappeared on the influencer’s social feed, featuring in an earlier post of the two getting ready together. While it was never confirmed whether they had actually broken up, it’s now clear that the couple are very much still together. Fans were thrilled to see the two lovebirds reunited, with some even suggesting that Jefri had flown all the way from the neighbouring country after filming to win Ameera’s heart once more.
Fans from Indonesia also commented about how adorable the two stars are together. Others, of course, were already hoping to hear wedding news in the near future, with many commenting that Ameera and Jefri are simply meant for each other. We have to agree on that, and who knows, perhaps the couple will announce something exciting later this year? We can only hope so.
