Malaysia has always been a popular tourist destination – but lately, it seems like it has been particularly popular with some big stars. Recently, some local netizens shared that they spotted Hong Kong actor Bosco Wong (黄宗泽) and Chinese idol Jackson Wang (王嘉尔/잭슨) out and about in the Klang Valley.
According to reports, a fan recently spotted actor Bosco Wong while dining at a street stall in Setapak. In the post, the fan wrote, “Are you still having a midnight snack at such a late time?” with a photo of the actor. As shown in the image, Bosco was dining with a few friends and seemed very comfortable, dressed in shorts and a baggy shirt. Another netizen revealed they also met the star in a local mall. Unfortunately, the fan didn’t approach him for a photo, but they did take a picture from afar.

Many netizens have reacted to the fan encounters, expressing shock to discover that the 44-year-old is just casually dining somewhere in Setapak. Some also questioned why Bosco is in Malaysia, considering he doesn’t have any events scheduled here. However, it’s worth noting that Bosco often makes personal trips to Malaysia because he has invested in several properties here.
Bosco isn’t the only international celeb who was recently sighted in Malaysia because some fans have also revealed that Hong Kong-born singer Jackson Wang is also in town at the moment. However, this isn’t surprising to some since the GOT7 member previously tweeted about being in the country, likely for a private schedule. While Jackson personally hasn’t shared about his trip, some lucky fans who spotted him around town did!
According to fans, the singer was shopping with his staff members at several malls in the Petaling Jaya area, including at 1Utama Shopping Centre. One fan also spotted Jackson dining at a mamak, revealing that the 30-year-old chose to sit in the outdoor seating area. Some fans have reacted to the post, somewhat shocked at how comfortable Jackson was to dine outside with minimal security.

Funnily enough, these celebrity sightings had some netizens jokingly asking why so many foreign stars have decided to visit Malaysia lately. Whether it’s for work or pleasure, we hope all the stars had a wonderful time while in town!
