TUMI’s Spring 2024 & CNY Collections @ The Exchange TRX
TUMI celebrated the grand opening of its store at The Exchange TRX with an exclusive showcase of the highly anticipated Spring 2024 and Lunar New Year collections. The event saw the attendance of esteemed celebrities and influential figures, creating a captivating atmosphere at TUMI’s latest store. Celebrities such as model Alicia Amin, content creator Brian See, singer Cik Manggis, actor Awal Ashaari, actress Scha Alyahya, content creator Azrel Ismail, and actress Eyka Farhana graced the occasion, joined by Randy Wong, TUMI General Manager of Southeast Asia.
While the Spring 2024 collection features architectural silhouettes, iridescent hardware, vibrant colorways, and unique textural elements, the Lunar New Year collection draws inspiration from the excitement of travel and exploration, featuring auspicious cloud motifs and a dancing dragon across 11 products.

The third edition of the Kuala Lumpur Warehouse Project (KLWP) will be staged at the larger capacity KL Base @ Bandar Malaysia, over two days on the 26th & 27th of January, 2023. It will unleash no less than eight stellar international acts this time around, including world #14 progressive trance duo W&W from The Netherlands.
During the press conference at Quill City Mall, we learned that the local lineup will once again feature the world-beating Chukiess & Whackbhoi, as well as a renowned and rising tide of local stars: Ramsey Westwood, Rasztooten, Yonn & Smash, Nick Leon & Devo Wayne and Cassie D, among many others.

We embarked on a fitness journey like never before as Sun & Sand Sports (SSS) unveiled a revolutionary experience, aptly themed ‘Sport Outside the Box’. During this event, shoppers participated in the SSS Active Arcade, a fun sports challenge that brought together unique and enjoyable sports experiences.
Apart from the fun activities held at Mid Valley Megamall’s centre court, we got to check out their latest outlet on the third floor – and we have to say that we were pretty amazed by the size as well as the variety of sportswear the store has to offer. Check out what went down in our reel below:

We embarked on a brew-tiful journey with HWC Coffee and Kinohimitsu at the launch of their first-ever collaboration! Sunway Malls recently welcomed the Year of the Dragon with a rousing celebration at Sunway Pyramid, at their majestic golden dragon palace!
With CEO of Sunway Malls & Theme Parks HC Chan gracing the celebration, the Dragon’s Blessing Lunar New Year celebration was launched with resounding beats from traditional Chinese drums and vibrant spectacles of lion and dragon dance performances, leaving us in awe and wonder.

Columbia Store Launch @ Mid Valley Megamall
Keeping you outdoors since 1938. Celebrating its entry to the Malaysian market, Columbia is currently hosting a roadshow at North Court, Mid Valley Megamall until 14th January 2024, with an array of engaging activities and workshops designed to excite and inspire Columbia consumers for their next outdoor adventure.
We were there to witness the exciting launch – and one of our favourite activities at the exhibition was the state-of-the-art Columbia Rain Room, where customers can experience rain indoors to test out Columbia’s OutDry products. Of course, the launch wouldn’t be complete without a tour of their latest outlet, located on the 3rd floor, opposite the Sun & Sand Sports store.

KitKat Golden Dragon Launch
We welcomed the auspicious Year of the Dragon with Nestle’s KitKat new Golden Dragon! In celebration of the Chinese New Year, KitKat introduced a new edition, incorporating the zesty flavour of orange with their much-loved chocolate! Inspired by the mythical Dragon scales, the stunning design of the new chocolate uses ‘Farbling’ to capture the spirit of the Dragon – a symbol associated with power, luck and prosperity in Chinese culture.
At the special launch event at Sunway Velocity Mall, we witnessed a jaw-dropping performance by the KitKat Golden Dragon Dance Troupe, who shared the prosperity with all the guests. KitKat brand ambassador Jestinna Kuan also took the stage to perform her new CNY song before joining some fans for a meet-and-greet session. We also tried out some games and activities at the roadshow – which are also available for guests to try and win some exclusive KitKat products!

MARISTAR’s ‘A Line Of Fashionista #5’ With Ivan Young
Maristar KL invited us to celebrate yet another talented designer at their ‘A Line Of Fashionista’ event! Held in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, in Starhill Bukit Bintang, the fifth edition of their fashion show series had good food and great fashion – courtesy of world-renowned designer, Ivan Young!
We witnessed a spectacular fashion show featuring some of Ivan Young’s designs – plus a sneak preview of their upcoming Lunar New Year collection. The Ivan Young fashion line was founded in 2017 by two aspiring sisters, Jane and Elle Tan, who wanted to share their love of fashion with the world. The duo was also at Maristar to introduce the label’s designs, all crafted with premium materials handpicked by Ivan Young.

NARS Powermatte High-Intensity Lip Pencil Launch
Critically-acclaimed cosmetics brand NARS unveiled their new Powermatte High-Intensity Lip Pencil- and we got to check it out at the launch at Element Hotel in Kuala Lumpur! The event highlighted the new lip pencil, a cream-to-matte lippie formulated with 12-hour staying power to deliver unstoppable saturation in a lightweight form.
Hosted by the lovely Alexis SueAnn, the brunch event not only celebrates the NARS lip pencil, but also CNY – complete with a lou sang session and specially-curated mocktails inspired by the lip pencils! Besides trying out the entire range of Powermatte High-Intensity Lip Pencils, we also got to try out the other members of the NARS Powermatte family, including the iconic lipstick.
