Daily caseload at 543 as another 4 deaths reported

Another 543 Covid-19 cases were recorded yesterday, taking total confirmed infections in the country to 5,029,337.

There were 688 recoveries, taking total recoveries to 4,981,052.

There are now 11,415 active cases, of which 10,828 or 94.9% are undergoing home quarantine. 

Meanwhile, 0 (0%) are at quarantine centres while 554 (4.9%) have been hospitalised. 

A total of 33 are in ICU with 14 in need of respiratory assistance.

Another four deaths were reported, including one who was brought in dead. Total deaths now stand at 36,870.
