When you start considering network marketing, you’ve probably found a lot of conflicting information. In this article, I am going to answer the question, “Do people really make money with the network marketing business model?”

When you watch a business opportunity video or go to a presentation, it all looks like rainbows and amazing things that are going on in the company. You get excited and emotional and are ready to go. After this, you often meet some of the long-time members of this organization and find out that they have made little to no money in the profession and you start thinking that things aren’t lining up.

Why Some People Make Money & Some Don’t

When you look at this business, it is not a job. You do not get paid for your activities. You get paid for your results. When you start to learn how to get results, that is when you start to make money in network marketing.

What type of results equal pay?

Every commission in network marketing is paid out because of a sale. Whether that is a sale to a customer or a team member, a product or service needs to be moving because of you or because of someone in your team so that you can get paid.

When you start focusing on doing the actions daily that create the sales, you are going to find that your paycheck begins to go up. Network marketing is a viable business model and people do really make money in the profession, but you have to be smart about it and work with people that know what they are doing.
