Asian celebrities have become much more prominent in the luxury fashion industry in recent years. East Asian celebrities, especially from China and South Korea, can be seen representing Asia at international fashion shows. Now, it’s Thailand celebrities turn at making their debut in the luxury fashion industry with their handsome and beautiful features.
Thanks to Thai dramas and music, these stars are gaining momentum outside the Asian sphere. Thai actors, especially those who act in Thai BL dramas, are gaining lots of love from international fans. Coupled with their charismatic appearance, these 5 stars are gaining love and influence in the glamorous world of fashion:
1. PP Krit (พีพี)
Krit Amnuaydechkorn (กฤษฏ์ อำนวยเดชกร), popularly known as PP Krit, rose to fame with his role as Oh-aew in the BL series, “I Told Sunset About You” and “I Promised You The Moon.” He started small in the industry, appearing in music videos and fashion shows before launching PP Krit Entertainment in 2022. His impeccable style also led him to becoming one of Balenciaga’s first Thai brand ambassadors.
2. Davika Hoorne (ดาวิกา โฮร์เน่)
Davika or Mai (ใหม่), gained fame with her role in “Pee Mak” alongside Mario Maurer. Even with 15 years in the acting industry, her beauty and acting skills are still getting raved about. She’s now Gucci’s Global Brand Ambassador and have previously working with L’Oreal, Dolce & Gabbana, and Michael Kors. Her position as one of Thailand’s top fashion icon was cemented after she was named Bulgari’s Friend of the House for South Asia Pacific in 2022.
3. Win Metawin (วิน)
Metawin Opas-iamkajorn (เมธวิน โอภาสเอี่ยมขจร), widely known as Win, gained fame as Tine in “2gether: The Series” and Kavin in “F4 Thailand” Boys Over Flowers”. He serves as the global brand ambassador for Prada and Tiffany & Co. The actor launched his fashion brand VELENCE in June 2020, which donates part of its revenue to orphanages. He also co-owns the confectionary business SOURI with his sister and launched VELATO as a premium ice cream brand in 2021, showcasing his business-savvy side.
4. Bright Vachirawit (ไบร์ท)
Vachirawit Chivaaree (วชิรวิชญ์ ชีวอารี), commonly known as Bright Vachirawit or Bright (ไบร์ท) started acting at 15 and gained fame as Darawat in “2gether: The Series” and as Thyme in “F4 Thailand: Boys Over Flowers”. He made recently waves in the fashion world with his Calvin Klein underwear campaign in 2023 and became Burberry’s first global brand ambassador from the South Asia-Pacific region in July 2022, representing Thailand.
5. Lisa from Blackpink (블랙핑크)
Lisa (리사) or Lalisa Manobal (ลลิษา มโนบาล) is a Thai-born Korean idol who began dancing at a young age and joined YG Entertainment in April 2011. She’s set to debut as an actress in HBO’s “the White Lotus” in 2025 after she founded her own studio, LLOUD. Lisa has been Celine’s global ambassador since 2020 and the face of Celine Haute Perfumerie since 2021. She also collaborated with Bulgari on the limited edition Bulgari x Lisa watch and frequently showcases Bulgari’s luxurious Serpenti collection.
