Casio G–SHOCK is kicking off this Lunar New Year with the new MTG-B3000CXD, blending G–SHOCK‘s original resin with metal in a design inspired by the awe-inspiring golden dragon to commemorate this auspicious occasion.
Paying tribute to the mythical, magical and magnificent creature, the bezel and brand loop of the new MTG-B3000CXD are covered with dragon scales that are created with gold colour ion plating and textured with etching and laser processing. The dragon scale motif is also printed on the dial in dark colour for a contrast, with a soaring dragon engraved at the case back signifying an auspicious, successful year!
This model features G–SHOCK MTG line’s triple G resistant (shock resistant, centrifugal force resistant, vibration resistant) and the advanced Dual Core Guard structure which protects the module in a carbon-reinforced resin case and encloses the exterior in metal components.
Repeated pressing, cutting, and polishing builds the stainless steel case back upward into an intricate 3D form. The case back also serves as the lugs to secure the band and as the guards for crown and buttons, for a more compact, slimmer timepiece.
