It seems Google is hard at work preparing to release the next generation of its Pixel smartphones, the Pixel 10. A production team was seen filming the phone on a public beach in Vancouver, Canada, likely for a commercial. Apparently, the crew were not particularly concerned with secrecy as a passer-by managed to get a good glimpse of the storyboard.
Photographer Marks Teasdale took to X to post a video of the filming process, which included shots of the storyboard stating that the phone is indeed the Pixel 10. Based on the footage, the device largely resembles its predecessor, more or less corroborating a previous leak. However, it seems that a new camera feature is coming with the phone.

The feature, called Google Add Me, is an AI-powered tool that allows the user to add people to the same shot. This feature will make it easier for users to take group photos as it allows the photographer to appear in the final image.
Meanwhile, a separate leak revealed the colour options for the Pixel 10 as well as its Pro and Pro XL variants. According to Mystic Leaks, the Pixel 10 will be available in Obsidian (Black), Blue, Iris (Purple), and Limoncello (Yellow). On the other hand, the Pro and XL versions will supposedly come in Obsidian, Green, Sterling (Grey) and Porcelain (White).

The Pixel series has typically launched in October, but the Pixel 9 arrived earlier in August 2024. It is possible that Google will follow this new schedule and launch the Pixel 10 around the same time this year.
