Great Wall Motor delivered 1,233,292 vehicles in 2024 – export sales totalled 453,141 units; 321,795 NEVs
Great Wall Motor (GWM) has announced its sales data for December as well as the whole of 2024. According to the Chinese automaker, a total of 135,286 vehicles were sold last month, or 20.25% more than the same month in 2023.
Meanwhile, the period from January to December 2024 saw 1,233,292 vehicles deliveries. As of December 2024, the company’s cumulative global sales reached 14,901,200 units.
Focusing on overseas sales, GWM sold 453,141 vehicles outside of China, which represents a year-on-year (YoY) increase of 43.39%. December 2024 saw 41,293 units being sold overseas, or a 23.35% YoY increase.
In terms of new energy vehicles (NEVs), GWM delivered 321,795 units (up 22.82%) in 2024, with 42,265 units recorded for the month of December 2024 (up 41.55%).
All brands in GWM’s portfolio saw a YoY increase in sales in 2024, including Haval (up 27.21% totalling 706,234 units), Wey (up 150.8% totalling 8,808 units) and Tank (up 42.12% totalling 231,001 units). The company also said Ora annual sales stood at 63,272 units, while its Pickup range has a domestic market share close to 50%.
