HONOR has confirmed that its upcoming 400 Series smartphones will launch on 22 May 2025 at 3pm local time. As previously reported, the upcoming event, which will be held in Malaysia, will also mark its debut to the global market.
In its recent announcement, the brand has revealed that the HONOR 400 Series will come with a new AI Image to Video feature, which is built with Google Cloud AI. This tool does exactly what it says on the tin, where it can generate a full motion video from a still image. Processing is done directly via the device, therefore eliminating the need for any third party apps. Other AI-powered features include an improved AI Eraser, as well tools that can automatically crop out objects from pictures, extend image boundaries, upscale lower resolutions, and much more.

HONOR also revealed that the 400 Series will offer a 200MP primary camera with a larger sensor than its predecessor, and a 12MP macro and wide lens combo. Exclusive to the Pro variant is a 50MP telephoto camera that can reach up to 50x digital zoom. Meanwhile, flipping over to the front, both models are confirmed featuring a 50MP selfie snapper.
The company did not detail other specifications surrounding both HONOR 400 variants. However, prior leaks suggest the base model will sport a 6.55-inch 1.5K OLED display with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 series chipset, while the 400 Pro will allegedly be fitted with the same display in a bigger 6.7-inch package as well as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

It should also be noted that HONOR previously launched the Lite variant from the 400 Series last month. This particular model, priced at RM1,299, offers a 6.7-inch 1080 x 2412 px AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, 12GB RAM +256GB storage, a 5,230mAh battery with 35W fast charging, as well as a triple camera setup consisting of a 108MP primary and a 5MP ultra-wide.
