Kudat – northern town of Sabah, closest to the Tip of Borneo, in Malaysia. Hidden tourist gem. Bustling, diverse city in a tropical setting. Great markets. We found a nice 3 star hotel for very reasonable price and next morning caught a public bus to Kota Kinabalu.
