Earlier this month, local authorities arrested a man known as “Hot Daddy” who was shamelessly promoting sex services on Twitter and Telegram. He was also charged with owning and distributing pornographic materials of him having sex with dozens of his female customers and subscribers.
It was reported that he made more than RM120,000 in the last six months through his immoral activities. The accused was taken into custody along with his two girlfriends who were involved in his crimes after they were found in a house at Kampung Janda Baik, Bentong, Pahang.
Earlier today (Friday, 26th January), the gigolo, real name Hasli Ikhwan Arif Zul Hasli, and his girlfriends, Norhidayah Mahadi and Norshazrina Md Zamri pleaded not guilty to charges of advertising sex services and pornography on social media after they were presented to them at Kuala Lumpur High, Sessions and Magistrate Court. The charge is made in accordance with Section 372 (1)(e) of the Penal Code and read together under Section 34 of the same code which carries a 15-year prison sentence, caning and a fine, if convicted.
It was reported that the prosecution proposed a bail amount of RM20,000. Their lawyer, Mohd Faris Abrar Othman, pleaded for his clients to be granted bail at a minimum rate. He told Judge Siti Aminah that it was not possible for all 3 of them to escape anywhere as two of them have a family to support. The judge then allowed each accused to be bailed at RM10,000 and that the next hearing would take place on 28th February.
As for the customers who subscribed to “Hot Daddy”‘s Telegram channel and featured in his sex videos, The Star previously reported that police are still tracking down the women in the videos as well as the subscribers who paid to watch the content. So far, there has been no update on the other suspects.
After the news broke out, netizens shared their thoughts on the case on social media. Many were obviously upset and in disbelief that a father of three children would even think of doing such a business, especially since he claimed to have an elderly father under his care. Others made light of the situation by jokingly asking for video proof of the man’s illegal work as a gigolo.
