Southeast Asia is bracing for trade disruption, now that American voters have returned Donald Trump to the White House. His plans for sweeping tariffs are threatening to hobble the region’s export-driven growth. Exports of solar equipment from Malaysia are expected to take a further hit, after the US recently raised tariffs to protect its domestic manufacturers. CNA’s Melissa Goh reports.
